Plant Packing & Shipping

STEP 1: Our plants are first picked from our greenhouses. We use wood fiber to cover the soil to prevent spillage.

STEP 3: We then put a plastic wrap around the planter and wood fiber portion of the plant.

STEP 5: We place the plant in a paper bag and secure it with a rubber band, similar to floral arrangement.

STEP 2: Our packing team prepares the plants for the shipments. The wood fiber is placed over the soil, right under the foliage.

STEP 4: Next we secure it tightly with a tie

Step 6: The paper bag is the final cover unless winter plant protection is included in the order, in which case thermal wrap and heat packs are included in shipments. See below for details.
Winter Plant Shipping Procedure
**We recommend adding Winter Protection to your orders if average daytime temps in the area drop below 50 Degrees F, and we will add heat packs as necessary to these orders. If daytime temps drop below 32 Degrees F, we will add an Insulated Liner to the box as well, which will keep the heat from the packs inside the box for longer. If temps drop below 0 Degrees, we will hold off on the shipment entirely until the weather warms up. We will contact you if this happens.
Plant Delivery Time
We ship plants year-round, despite your local weather conditions. We will generally process your order within 3-5 business days of your order being placed. We package the plants in our warehouse in Southern California and Florida to ensure safe shipping.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
(Shipping to Hawaii & Alaska not included)
We process orders on business days which are Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard-Times, and exclude holidays observed by the Post Office: New Year’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Processing Time: 3 – 6 business days (in regular seasons) or more depends on holiday seasons.
Domestic Delivery: 3 – 7 business days (in regular seasons) or more depends on holiday seasons.
Please allow 7-10 days for your order to ship, this ensures you have a premium plant picked fresh from the greenhouse to your doorstep in beautiful condition.
Order Tracking
You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking link so that you can follow your order all the way home! Please allow 7-10 days for the carrier to scan your package into their system.
If you attempt to track your package and there is no information available that just means the carrier has not processed your parcel yet. When the parcel is scanned into the system, tracking events will populate on the tracking page.
If it is over your estimated arrival date, please contact us, and we can take care of this for you.
Incorrect Address
Make sure you provide the correct address at checkout because we are not responsible if your order gets delivered to the wrong address.
If you contact the final mail carrier after the order has left our warehouse and ask them to forward or redirect your parcel, we are not responsible if that parcel gets lost, stolen, or damaged.
